SMOrc pets are the pets that belong to the SMOrc faction in Mobile Minigames. Overall, the abilities of SMOrc pets focus on one primary aspect: improving your combat effectiveness! Due to how central combat is in Mobile Minigames, SMOrc pets are some of the most important pets in the game for late-game progression.
In this guide we will go over the different SMOrc pet auto-skill abilities and passive abilities, analyze the potential effectiveness of each, and determine the combination of abilities which might have the biggest impact on your overall account progression.
SMOrc pets have a total of 7 auto-skill (combat) abilities.
They are the following:
Before unlocking the ability to use one of these auto-skills, you must first have an active SMOrc pet guardian. This only happens once you have captured the SMOrc hatchery, and have unlocked the SMOrc section in Streamer Talents by collecting 2500 default faces.
For more information on how to setup auto-skill abilities and apply them to certain heroes, take a look at the Pet Abilities Guide.
In the sections below, we will take a look at some of the best possible strategies with these auto-skill abilities.
While this ability may not seem the best, you can use it to improve the health of your team significantly while in battle.
This ability is best paired with a Priest which is already used for massive healing.
Take a look at the following Priest ability-set:
This ability-set focuses on increasing the attack of the Priest by as much as possible, while using a healing ability as the ultimate ability.
Here are some perks of this strategy combined with this ability-set:
- 90% increased attack
- 30% increased health
- Team heals by 65% of attack each round (from ultimate ability)
- Team heals by 20% of attack each round (from SMOrc pet guardian Regeneration ability)
This is a significant amount of healing and will likely make a huge difference during most battles.
In fact, this is probably one of the best Priest healer strategies in the game.
As long as you have a 9-star SMOrc pet guardian, your team will heal by 20% of your Priest’s attack every turn.
SMOrc pets have a total of 9 unique passive abilities.
They are the following:
The focus for these SMOrc pet passive abilities is on combat effectiveness.
As a result, you only really have one primary strategy that you can employ with these passive abilities.
Although the primary focus of these abilities is on combat effectiveness, there are some abilities which are clearly worse than others and some which definitely a lot better.
In the next section you will learn all about the best combat abilities to use on your SMOrc pet.
To begin, we should look at the abilities which are the least effective.
They are the following:
Why are the Divine Shield, Lightning Blade, Rejuvenation and Horn of War abilities ineffective?
These abilities all lack effectiveness simply because they only affect one stat!
This makes them clearly outmatched by Hardiness and Ancestor’s Might, which both affect two stats.
The only time you want to use Divine Shield, Lightning Blade, Rejuvenation or Horn of War is when you are trying to stack one particular stat on a hero.
For example, if you want your streamers to stack a lot of attack, you could use Lightning Blade & Hardiness.
However, it’s most likely that you will be better off by simply using other passive abilities which affect multiple stats.
Why is Athene’s Favor bad?
Athene’s Favor is not just bad; Athene’s Favor is terrible! You will never find a time that you want to use this ability.
Due to the fact that you will have so many heroes, you will always have an active aura which is better than the Athene Aura. As a result, you will never actually use this ability.
Take a look at the Beginner's Combat Guide to learn about the best faction auras.
Do not use the Athene's Favor ability!
Why is Mark of the Duelist bad?
This ability is almost as bad as Athene’s Favor. You might get some use from Mark of the Duelist, but the problem is, you simply do not need it!
You do not gain much progression by dueling other plays, so improving your power in duels is useless!
The bulk of your progression will come from the Campaign Tower, Arena and Boss Tower. Improving your combat potential in duels is pointless!
These are likely the most effective combat passive abilities:
Whirling Blade allows you to get more multipliers, which becomes a must have when facing very high stages in the Boss Tower, Campaign Tower, and the Arena. At a certain point, you literally cannot progress without multipliers.
It is hard to say whether Whirling Blade is more effective than a different stat-boosting ability, but we believe it will be a lot more effective in the long run.
On the other hand, Hardiness and Ancestor’s Might are excellent because they both provide stat bonuses in two different areas, therefore outclassing all of the other stat increasing passive abilities.
These are likely the best abilities to use to improve your combat potential.
However, these other abilities might also work to replace Whirling Blade:
These abilities will improve the attack or power of your heroes, which might be more beneficial than improved multipliers.
Whichever abilities you end up going with, it’s important that you level up and upgrade your SMOrc pet to as high level and star as possible!
Without a good SMOrc pet with the proper abilities, you will not be able to progress far in late-game combat.
